Speaking during the company’s Silver Jubilee celebrations- cum launch of the foundation at Cathay Hotel in Nakuru yesterday, Tuskys chairman John Kago said the management saw it fit to give back to the society by educating poor children in honor of its founder. He said this is in line with the dream of their father, Joram Kamau who passed on a few years ago. “There are things that our father did that we need to continue from where he left… he educated many children and visited the poor,” he said. Tuskys Supermarket, the second largest supply chain in the region, has launched Joram Kamau Foundation to combat poverty and provide education for children from poor backgrounds.
